To entry a film, you have to:

Form
➣   fill this form in his totality.
The fileds marked with a ‘*’ are compulsory.

Sending of files by e-mail:
Some files have to be sent together with the form.
After you have filled the form by pressing on the "Submit" button, you will be redirected to a page from which you will be able to send the following documents:
1 or 2 still(s) of the film
1 still of the director
The photos have to be JPEG files (10 x 15 cm - 300 dpi).

The list of dialogues (if your film has some dialogues) as digital documents in one of the following formats: HTML, RTF, DOC, DOCX, ODT or PDF.
N-B: The dialogues have to be in Hungarian and in English. If you have a French version of the dialogues, please send it too!
Please feel free to send us by e-mail any documentation about the film (press release…)

DVD
➣   send by post a PAL VIDEO-DVD of your film (or also possibly a DVD-ROM or a CD-ROM where the film is enclosed as a DV or MPEG 1 or MPEG 2 or MPEG 4 file).
➣  To retreive the address where to send your DVD, you have to send the form by clicking on the ‘submit’ button at the bottom of this page. Then, an e-mail will be sent to you with the sending address.
The DVDs are not sent back. If you want us to send them back to you, please specify it clearly.

Some advice to fill the form
➣  Before you fill the form, read it through in order to avoid to type redundant information.
By instance, if you fill the form as the film director, you will type information like address, e-mail… in the heading ‘This form has been filled out by’. Then, it is no worth to re-type this information in the heading ‘Director’, except for the compusory field ‘director, first name and surname’.
Of course, this is also true if you fill the form as a producer or distributor regarding the headings ‘Producer’ and ‘Distributor’.

Révélations hongroises is mostly dedicated to young Hungarian animated film. Therefore the film has to be produced - at least partly - in Hungary.
Still, if the film has another connection with Hungary, film with Hungarian dialogues, tribute to an Hungarian artist… it can be accepted. The selection comitee will decide about those cases.

* Year of production:

There is no limit like "The film must have been completed before&hellip" Of course, we would like to have some films from the years 2008-2009. However The Révélations hongroises organisation is not a festival and if a film from a previous year is submitted, we will take it in consideration. It is even one of the ourpose of this collection of films to re-discover films which did go unnoticed in spite we find them pretty good.

* Running time:

There is no limit concerning the duration. Films can be short or feature. Of course our favorites are short films. First because, if we consider young filmmakers, this is the most representative type of film and also because it allows us to screen more films. But if you have made or produced a feature film which you think fits the spirit of the collection, then it is very welcome!

* Kind of animation:

Révélations hongroises is normally dedicated to animated film. The film must have been shooted - at least partly - in stop motion (frame by frame).
Still, if a film (a documentary for instance) has any connection with young Hungarian animated film, it can be accepted. The selection comitee will decide about those cases.
