Révélations hongroises: What’s new?












Hungarian animated short films at the Hungarian Institut of Paris, France

On Friday the 18th of September 2009, at 9 pm: the Hungarian Institute of Paris presents together with Révélations hongroises a program of 9 animated short films (running time 1:13’) made by young Hungarian directors.
Before the screening, Jean-Philippe Salvadori, president of Révélations hongroises, will introduce the films and after the screenings there will be a discussion with the audience.

It will be an
open-air screening on the terrace of the 5th floor of the Hungarian Institute of Paris

Entrance: 5 €
A meal will be offered to the spectators.

Be aware that due to the limited amount of seats,
booking is compulsory.
Don’t forget to take some
warm clothes (it can be quite cold!)
In case of bad weather, the screening would take place inside the institute.

The Hungarian days in Rhône-Alpes at the EVE, Grenoble, France

In the frame of The Hungarian days in Rhône-Alpes, 10 animated short films of Révélations hongroises collection will be screened on Wednesday the 23rd of September, from 9:30 pm at the “Espace Vie Étudiante” (EVE) in Grenoble, after the animated feature film of Aron Gauder, Nyocker! (The District).

The Hungarian days in Rhône-Alpes (Les Journées Hongroises en Rhône-Alpes) take essentially place in and around Grenoble. The kernel of the event is a Hungarian Film Festival which presents during 5 days - September 23-27, 2009 - a large and beautiful selection of recent Hungarian feature films and the short films proposed by Révélations hongroises.
Around the films, there is also concerts (Félix Lajko…), exhibitions (The Mouse with a Mouth / Le Mulot menteur) and lots more…


The Hungarian days in Rhône-Alpes are organized by Le Piment vert non-profit society which aims through this event to make us more familiar with the multiple aspects of Hungarian culture and with Hungarian realities and therefore to establish a strong partnership between Hungary and the Rhône-Alpes Region.

The Fairy with the Seven Heads follows La Caravane ensorcelée

La Caravane ensorcelée (The bewitched caravan) is a project of the non-profit society La Pellicule ensorcelée (The Bewitched reel).
It is a small and transportable movie theater, which allows the screening of author film in quarters, villages, schools, vacation centers, festivals… 10 to 15 people can stay in it and it proposes a catalogue of more than 80 short films, from 1 to 15 minutes in differents genres of cinema: live action and animation fiction, documentary, music video…
