The object theater workshop is a manipulation theater workshop where the characters and sets are composed entirely or in part of recovered objects staged on a table.
Object theater is economical to set up. It makes extensive use of recovery, reuse (recovery of objects and materials) and small DIY.
It is well suited to practice in the workshop for all audiences and particularly with young children (from 6 years old).
It is the realm of diversion, of the transformation of reality... incongruous encounters between objects and universes which do not necessarily have a vocation to meet and which meet and collide somewhat like a collage by recreating meaning from disparate elements.
The theater of objects is the kingdom of the imagination, of dreamlike universes from which surrealism is never far away.
